Frequently Asked Questions
Q: AREN'T YOU SUPPORTED BY TAXES?
A: Ambler Ambulance receives small donations each year from some of the townships we serve. These donations make up less than 2% of our total annual budget. Most monies come from billing for services or our annual fund campaign.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT JOIN?
A: If you do not join, and require the use of our services, you will receive a bill. You could be charged up to $500.00 or more, depending on the services you receive each time you use the ambulance service.

Q: WILL YOU BILL MY INSURANCE COMPANY?
A: Yes, we reserve the right to bill your insurance company for reimbursement for services, even if you are a member. But if you are a member, your membership covers any balance the insurance company will not cover. So there's never a bill to you!

Q: ARE CONTRIBUTIONS TAX DEDUCTABLE?
A: Ambler Community Ambulance is registered with the I.R.S. and approved as a 501-C3 organization, so in most cases your contribution is tax deductible. Check with your tax professional for more details. We also participate in the United Way Charities. So if your company participates, please consider designating your contribution to us during the United Way campaign.
