Executive Director
Community Ambulance Association, Ambler (CAAA) is searching for an Executive Director to lead and manage the operational, financial, and business aspects of the organization. CAAA is a non-profit provider of Emergency Medical Services which services three municipalities and boroughs in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. CAAA responds to approximately 2,500 emergency calls annually and operates a fleet of three ambulances.
The Executive Director is responsible for leading the long-term development and success of the organization and shall work continuously to identify, develop, and implement methods to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, safety, financial performance, and quality of EMS services provided to the local community. The Executive Director serves as the organization liaison to municipalities, county, state, federal, legislative, media, health facilities, police, fire, EMS, and community agencies. The Executive Director reports to the CAAA Board of Directors.
Interested candidates shall have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, health administration, EMS, or a related field and have a minimum of three years of previous healthcare or public safety management experience with clear evidence of accomplishments during tenure in previous position. Demonstrated proficiency and expertise in fiscal management, grant writing, fund raising, healthcare billing, policy development, public relations and marketing, personnel management, and purchasing are required. Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic is preferred, but not required.
